New GNSS SocietyA new society has been formed to advance the interests of users of satellite positioning systems. The new society - the International Global Navigation Satellite Systems Society - will take over the running of a bi-annual conference, a tradition first started by the GNSS Society. This society has been wound up, and will be replaced by IGNSS. Keith McPherson of Airservices Australia is the first president of the new society. The inaugural conference - IGNSS 2006 - will be held 18-21 July next year, in Surfers Paradise, Queensland. |
