Leica Acquires Acquis

A new agreement between Leica Geosystems Geospatial Imaging in the US and Acquis will facilitate the processing and delivery of geospatial data within the Oracle Spatial 10g environment.

The geospatial imaging capabilities of Leica's Erdas Imagine image manipulation product will be integrated with Acquis' suite of tools for manipulating data in 10g.

The resulting package will augment Imagine raster data handling with the vector-handling capabilities of Acquis.
